Sold now init.

Not for what I wanted (or what I honestly would have paid myself...but I know the car and the punters don't, to be fair) but it never is.

I honestly wonder if I've made a good decision  :-X

Yah.  They offer £7350 for it, Autotrader reckon £7970 for a "good one with at least 6 months MoT"  this has a full year, and just been fully serviced to. genuinely "Excellent"... with a bit of haggle room I thought 8250 was realistic. Still think it is TBH.  I've got 5 watching on eBay. and one offer (£6500 FFS)

I'll leave it for now.  And if it doesn't go after a few weeks I'll put it back to stock and try again. That would be a pity though.

I could get the mapping taken off to return it back to original flat restricted engine to offer it as standard.  Criminal.  :'(

Or just not mention it.

Mapping is a funny one with car sales.  If selling to an 'enthusiast' who would probably map anyway, it can be a selling point.  To others it can be something a boy racer does and has potentially been ragged and they steer clear.

When selling back to dealers I think they prefer completely stock as they don't have any unknown quantities they have to deal with.

If you want a quick sale you could always try the evil wescrewoveranycarow ner.com.

For older cars they are a complete rip off, but for 'nearly new' they aren't actually too bad.  Will never get near private sale price though, but worth a free quote just to see what they'll offer and take it from there to gauge a good private sale price.

Not having a lot of interest  yet.  Price is pretty much where it should be for a standard car..

Glad to hear that the tyres are all round. Hate square ones.

This really is in showroom condition inside and out.  Even the engine bay was ACF50 from new so that's clean too. I'll be as bold to say it will be one of the best kept in the UK and I doubt you'll find better.

I'll be sad to see it go,  but it will make someone a jolly nice mota. Piccys to follow
