The bike weighs a over 300kg, a lot of that will be engine. apparently the crank is just short of 20kg!

If I get it it will be going on a diet. May even attempt to build a new frame for it to sit in (trellis framed super cruiser anyone?)

Could be an interesting one.

I was just thinking looking at the top image, would be good to see someone take a bike the other direction, so instead of caf race a sports bike, take a cruiser and turn it into something a bit more sporty.

Would certainly have a fair bit of scrap metal to cash in off those bars ;)

so carrying this thread on, I am considering letting go of my dirt bike and starting a new project.

I only have 1 friend who rides dirt bikes and he hardly rides as hes got really bad rheumatoid arthritis. My son rides but to honest I don't think he is even that bothered now, I think he'd rather sit and play Fornite at the moment.

As much as I enjoyed riding the mx bike if I am not going to use it (i don't enjoy doing that sort of stuff solo) so I might as well move it on.

Been looking at this:

So its an 1800 V twin with 107bhp and 120ftlbs torque at 3000rpm. That sounds like a pretty cool base for a custom project.  The handlebars are utterly ridiculous and will have to go, but ive noticed the bloke that owned it has already spend some cash on bit. the 240 section rear with the 17" rim is a big one.

I'd like to try and immitate this for a fraction of the price:

what the hell?! I just googled street hawk to have a look at the bike, its utter dog shit  :o ;D

At the time it was the greatest thing I had ever seen, my illusions have been shattered.

Reading the specs apparently its capable of 300mph.  I am starting to doubt the veracity of that statement

"During the filming of the show, Jesse had to perform many stunts to catch the bad guys with Street Hawk. Since Street Hawk was cruising at high speeds and leaping, some of the parts would fall off during the filming. One of those parts was the fiberglass, which constantly fell off the bike.

The modifiers were on standby to fix the bike whenever the parts fell off, but regardless of the amount of effort they exuded, some of the parts wouldn't stay on the bike."

Yeah, I think that's the kind of custom I'd end up building  :tink
