Have you bought a bike yet Mister?
No. As Mrs L booked a holiday with my ‘pocket money’ I’ll have to save up again... although Yamaha are doing some great finance deals at the mo...

I’ll be able to convince her that quite easily once the little one has flown the nest... but for now; no.

But I can save up again after Crimbo and have some cash again ready for Easter...

You can't convince her to go on a bike touring holiday and use that as justification for a decent 2 up tourer? :D

Opened a joint bank account recently, first time we've had one, now the Mrs will see what I spend on toys  :o  New PC I bought the other week came out of my old account though as that was definitely frivolous  ;D

Yup, I do like FJ12s. You can buy tatty ones for £800 or immaculate ones with luggage for £1500; which is exactly what my wife spent on booking a Christmas holiday last night.
Seems that the bike will have to wait until spring now that she knows how much I had tucked away. [emoji849]

A Hagon transformed carrying a pillion on my Mk1, sold that to Chris Larkin (RIP :() before you had the rest of the bike though.

Most manufacturers will refurb a shock, I got mine from a bike Tony and I scrapped and then paid Hagon £100 to refurbish it.

A mate used to do huge miles with a pillion on a Trophy 1200, looked to be a nice seat and decent weather protection with a fairly upright riding position, without being as big as a full on tourer.
