Pricey for a TRX .......I'm sure you could get one for half that price if you look around.
One of the mechanics at Balderstons had a tidy one - I'll ask about it when I go tomorrow to pick up the Bathtub

Nog, you should stop at Wansford on the A1 - look at Ducati Peterborough - in a tastefully restored Art Deco building just right for the lovely bikes inside then go on into the village - pub grub at The Papermills is excellent - Mrs Nog will be impressed.

Rutland Water tends to have better facilities the Graham Water - and I'm advised they now have Ospreys nesting there

And sadly, I have run out space in the garage, but have annexed Saxondale to store a couple not Manthorpe ........I really do have to cull the collection soon though

It's all bubble prices at the mo. My biggest fear would be the bubble bursting.

Fair comment. You could get a similar age Ducati for that money... or an old BSA...
Or keep looking and see if you can pick one up for less. Have a look on the TRX forum.

Can't be that rare if no one is snapping it up.

Yeah and there are tons of bikes out there at this price range.  I did like the look of the Firestorm they have for 2.5k, but not enough to fill the garage up with it.

I'd like a TRX, but not enough to have my pants pulled down, although I've done that for a lot less to be fair.

Thought I'd speak to the guy to see about viewing the bike on Saturday and also get a feeling for whether there's some flexibility on price so we don't waste each others time.

He's dropped the price already, but reckons there's no more movement on it.  To be honest I think it's a bit on the high side.  If he gave me a feeling I could get it nearer 2.5 I'd probably be more inclined to go and take a look.

I know they are 'rarer' bikes now, but they're not really that exotic in any way other than having a small cult following, so I think 3k is on the high side for me for a bike that is that age.

The ZRX cost me half that, is a similar age and similar rarity and I acknowledge a higher mileage, but I still think twice the price is asking a lot.

So I think I may sit back on this and keep an eye on what he does with the price if no-one else bites.

Lol, I'd better arrange to see it quick then.

Ran the idea of a trip to Grafham Water at the weekend past Mrs Nog to walk the dog and treat her to lunch, oh and maybe drop by a bike shop to, ahem, see what's around ;)

You'd better buy it quick smart before Sidey does and paints it yellow.

Surely he’s run out of garage space by now!

I think he's annexed Manthorpe.

He's got an entire house to fill in France.
I have noticed there's not much yellow paint around these days though.
