Took the tyre off the spare TDM 900 rim (R6) that I'm selling last night - used the tyre bar that I got after seeing CB's video on using it, feck me what a difference.

Winged the thing off no problem, saves so much hassle over using levers  :thumb

Only trouble is the frame I have to put the wheel on doesn't bolt to the ground, so I have to push against the force of the bar taking the tyre off.  A little trickier but still way easier than previously.  Might look into some floor brackets or something so I can secure it when I need to.
Couple of holes in the floor for pegs to drop in to?

Pretty much all sorted   :badge

Took it for a spin and pulls great through the revs, air fuel looks good so will now leave it alone  :thumb

Really chuffed it's finally sorted.

Stopped for fuel though and when restarted it had that struggle you hear when it's taken some fluid into the cylinders. It doesn't do it when I turn the fuel tap off, so could be the valve is leaking fuel through even when the vacuum valve is off and the pressure is overcoming the float valves.

Easy enough to remember to turn it off but something to look at in the future.

Ooer, could the ZRX be sorted?

Fired her up this evening to give it a test before a ride tomorrow just to see how it was running. Fired up great, even without balancing the carbs she ran better than before.

Was running a bit rich on idle and realised id not set the mixture screw to what dynojet recommends with the kit. Quickly tweaked them to 1.5 turns out and restarted. Running really nice, idling with AFR around 13, which I'm happy with, although may tweak out a touch nearer to 14 but will see how it runs on the road first as if it's good will probably leave alone as the dynojet kit is already sounding great, so I'll trust them to know what they're doing. :thumb

Test ride tomorrow :)

If this is all sorted that's the best cash I've spent in a while to sort it so easily.

The ZRX is pretty bad in summer, blasts hot air straight over your legs and gets a bit toasty.

Nice in the colder weather though I guess.

Yeah, if I ride spiritedly on the Faz you really feel the heat of the engine when the sensibility kicks back in.

pretty much yes.  I need to put the bike in neutral for the last half a lap and coast round to cool the engine.
