Lovely cars... I worked on one in a garage, the engine bay had a tiny engine in it and you could see the road for a clear 6 inches all around it.

My brand new battlax had a fu  :censored ing puncture in it the day after fitting. When it has air in though it's a pretty good tyre :)

After putting in some miles in the last couple of weeks decided that the Pirelli Scorpions just had to go. They just never instilled any confidence. That said they still had mileage left after doing 7,000. Back was flat across the middle with 3mm left before illegal and front probably good for another 2k. Geezer in tyre shop said 'you been riding like a girl then?'.

Have resorted back to my fav tyres - Bridgestones. They have a new version of the Battlax called the A40. Even the 25 miles home (in pissing rain) from the tyre shop felt better with out being scrubbed in.

Review; http://www.superbike.co.uk/product-reviews/bridgestone-battlax-adventure-a40-tyre-product-review/ - 5% more wet grip than previous Battlax.

So now you've topped your brake fluid up, when you push the pistons back to change the pads fluid will piss out of the reservoir....

No because I filled it up with pistons back then pulled brake lever to check went to right level. Will bleed anyway when change pads so matters not one jot.
