Today's London weather has been cold and pissing down. Very happy to be off home tomorrow (via another mate in Richmond) in cool and dry weather. The service light has come on so a winter strip and fettle beckons and a tyre change will follow. All done after the Summer Solstice run
yah been on site visits in London today. Up on the roof has been grim

Good run home albeit chilly, but the Scott outfit is an effective wind stopper. I'm loving the Strumpets easy manners and ability to cruise effortlessly and drop it two gears to feck off from expensive cars driven by frustrated men. The Rukka glubs dem arrived today so looking forward to a ride in em cum soon.

I used to have a pair of jeans that would get into my recess and chafe excessively

Recessive genes can cause  'very clear dissimilarities' well known fact.

There is a very clear dissimilarity (I used someone else's blood for the paternity test)...

Speaking of which I've come to London to see my old school fried and her husband and kids. It's been a few years.

If those kids look vaguely familiar I'd make your excuses and get out of there quick.

Seamstress... I met one years ago in a place in East London that made bike leathers. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I couldn't afford handmade so was really just wasting their time as I was just dreaming (I ended up with two piece Fieldsheer which fitted awful). She told me about the choosing of leather grade and it's grain and their assembly of panels and seam line and stitching. Garment making as an art form and a life saver. Talented woman.

Speaking of which I've come to London to see my old school fried and her husband and kids. It's been a few years.

The ride down was in the new Scott waterproofs. They're a sort of rubbery stretchy fabric and mildly shiny. I think I like them. Other road users may be impressed that a large seal has learnt to ride a motorcycle. It was 5 degrees for 3.3hrs. They cut the wind out very well so I was cold through lack of thermal layers as it was long sleeve shirt, leathers then rainsuit. It rained for half an hour but too light for any significance. 9:30pm London traffic flows with a faux relaxed patience with the odd chancer in a car doing something you need to be aware of to stay safe. I don't know how you London bikers do it. I couldn't anymore.
